Who We Are
Grupo Cal y Mayor began operations over 50 years ago, when Engineer Rafael Cal y Mayor Reyes Spíndola decided to leave his career in public service to found a consulting firm specializing in traffic and transportation engineering.
Since then, Grupo Cal y Mayor has maintained steady growth, progressively expanding its presence, capabilities, and service offerings. In 1996, it began expanding into South America, followed by the United States in 2004. Throughout this process, the group incorporated new areas of expertise, including the design and construction management of building and public infrastructure projects, as well as healthcare facilities, cable car systems, and service stations.
In 2015, it strengthened its capabilities in the building sector through the creation of Navarro & Cal y Mayor, a strategic alliance between Grupo Cal y Mayor and Alfonso Navarro Díez, a renowned architect with over 25 years of experience in the comprehensive management of building projects across various countries.
